Who We Are
Jesus- The purpose of Oasis Church is to share the hope of Jesus. Jesus is our message. We want to experience him, know him, and share him.
People- Our heart is for ALL people. All people are loved by Jesus. We desire to help people live the life they were meant to live in community with others.
Generosity- Generosity is about giving more than what is required. We see generosity as a privilege. God has given richly towards us, it's our honor to give back to Him with time, talent and treasure.
Excellence- We are going to always do the best with what we have. We're on time, engaged and prepared. We don't do things half way. If we're going to do it, it's to the best of our ability.
Servant Leadership- If you're too big to serve then you are too small to lead. We believe the greatest leadership is service to others. Every role is different but they are all important.
Passion- Everything we do, we do it with passion. From our worship to our service we do it with Holy Spirit Energy. Passion drives us. Passion for Jesus. Passion for people. Passion for His church.
Prayer- We believe prayer is the intimate interaction of our heart with the heart of God. It is the foundation of our relationship. We believe that prayer gives us power to experience the abundant life found in Christ.
The Church We See
We see a church that is not separated by walls of fear or prejudice but freely embraces people of diversity in color, personality, background, age and talent. We are a beautiful mosaic that reflects the image of our infinitely skilled and creative Maker.
We see a church that has rediscovered the vibrant joy and energy of the early church and is actively honoring God in our families, changing lives in our communities, making a difference in our country, and impacting nations for Christ.
We see a church whose head is Jesus, help is the Holy Spirit and whose heart is people. Who happily seeks and serves the lost with the help of the Holy Spirit while trusting Jesus will save them, shining the light of the gospel into every dark area of our city.
We see a church that is so full of faith that we truly believe anything is possible. With prayer as our foundation, miracles of healing, provision, and freedom are celebrated and expected daily.
We see a church whose message is eternal and unchanging but whose creative methods are always adapting to engage people where they are, equipping and empowering believers to live out their purposes. Constantly challenging our faith community to growth in the Word and spiritual disciplines.
We see a church whose passionate, authentic worship draws people to experience God even before they fully understand Him. We actively pursue the manifested presence of the Holy Spirit in our gatherings because God can do more in one minute than we can in a lifetime.
We see a church whose culture of honor, love and generosity extend beyond our own four walls to serve our families and communities. We freely give because we have freely received grace through the gospel of Jesus Christ.
We see a church living in daily community, happily bearing the burdens of one another. Fun, laughter, tears and sorrow are shared and strength received as we grow and mature into the family God intended us to be.
